Nature Photography

Lonnie has always been fond of the natural world, and believes in its healing powers. He’s also always been a fan of birds, and has raised and judged champion chickens. Lonnie frequently uses his photographs as the starting reference point for his paintings.

I lived out in a beautiful place, Fort Valley, Virginia. This beautiful nature gave me the greatest joys of life. …Watching nature gives me a close feeling to God.
