Remembering Fort Valley
Lonnie grew up in Fort Valley, Virginia and many of his recent works involve paintings from his youth. From his dog Booger playing around, to the potato harvest in Sawmill Holler, Lonnie records his memories of youth in acrylic.
Lonnie says, “A lot of my art is about my farm life growing up in Fort Valley, VA. It was peaceful watching nature and neighbor farmers going about their daily chores.”
